It looks a little bit rough still, since it’s still curing, and I didn’t do any filling of the pits, but the vinyl top is going to cover all the pitting.
Now, to order the new vinyl top.

Very fun. Especially outside on a
windy
gusty day.

It wasn’t too bad, but I draped both sides of the car, and all the glass, removed all the trim (except for the gutters, because it refused to move, even after some considerable “motivation", masked around all the edges, and worked in the garage. Honestly, getting the 50 year old stainless trim off was worse than the actual process.
That said, I did get some on my hands, and no amount of scrubbing has made even a tiny bit of difference.

I have that all under my Z and my Merc. Miracle Paint is best for rust you have.

If you’re lucky you get a big drop that comes off all at once, otherwise you have about a week of scrubbing ahead of you before it comes off. I did an underbody two weeks ago with a full TyVek suit, goggles, and gloves and still managed to get my face and arms/wrists.

The windshield is good. I’m just waiting to replace the trim, until after the new top is in place.

From the picture it looks like you’ve covered it in overspray (and some heavy spots) of por15, was wondering what the plan was.

That’s the shadow from the garage light. I rolled the POR15 on, so there was no spraying... When I sanded the roof down, a bit of the rust dust was still on the windshield there, that’s all.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. It still really looks like overspray, though! I look forward to seeing the completed project
